'Sense8' season 2 rumors, release date in 2017? New character to serve as teacher

Rumors regarding "Sense8" season 2 have been flying around for a while now and although no one from the show has confirmed them, they continue to become more widespread. Currently, the new rumor in town has to do with a new character being introduced in season 2.
Reports are saying that actor Kick Gurry has been brought in to play the role of Puck, a teacher who will train the Sensates to control their powers as well as how to live a normal life.
As for the big baddie in the upcoming season, reports have it that Rajan Rasal (Purab Kohli) will embody the new villain. Rajan is Kala's (Tina Desai) fiancé, and now that Kala's relationship with Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) seems to be taking off, it would be reasonable if Rajan became the new antagonist. And although the previous season's finale left things open between Kala and Wolfgang, Desai has teased in an interview with International Business Times that the new installment will see the couple's relationship become more "electric than ever." Desai also revealed that more action is in store for fans when it comes to season 2.
The season 1 finale certainly wrapped things in a satisfying way, with the Sensates escaping the pursuit of Whispers (Terrence Mann). But their safety won't last long, that's for sure so it's a good thing that someone who can guide them in the ways of being a Sensate will soon be introduced.
Another thing that has been the topic of conversation is season 2's release date. Some reports have claimed that the second season will premiere sometime in June, but others have argued that it might be as late as next year.
Production for the second season of "Sense8" is currently underway, but Netflix Life pointed out that the previous season was completed in about a year, so it's highly likely that the second season will take the same amount of time. Besides, "Sense8" is known for filming and taking viewers to different parts of the world.
