The reality show about the polygamist family, "Sister Wives," just recently concluded its seventh season. Although there is still no official announcement about its season 8 renewal, there are rumors saying that it may be canceled on TLC.

The show, which stars the polygamist family Brown, is currently working on their renewal with TLC networks. However, since the family is shrouded by numerous controversies, there is a possibility that it will no longer return for season 8.

In season 7 finale, viewers can remember that Meri's catfishing scandal was discussed within the family. The Browns voiced out their opinions regarding the scandal. Kody, the patriarch, was supportive of Meri and even trusts that she did not have any relationship with a person named Jacquelyn Jackie Overton online. He also reiterated that the victim of the situation was Meri since she was being threatened and manipulated by the alleged catfisher.

Meanwhile, there are recent reports saying that Kody is searching for two new wives. Robyn's, one of Kody's wives, friend Kendra Pollard revealed on Hollywood Life that the patriarch of the Brown family is planning to wed again. Pollard said, "Kody doesn't want to keep dealing with his current wives. They haven't been supportive of him, so Kody has planned the ultimate revenge."

Pollard further revealed that Kody is eyeing to marry their family friend, Amanda, and his step-niece Mindy. "The Browns have mingled with Amber on and off over the years. Robyn's not sure, and I'm not sure, if this is a legit love or for TV purposes. It's freaky, and Kody swore that he would never do this. Kody's on the wife topic again. I just refuse to go there," she added.

Although some claim that season 8 may not be happening anymore, there are other sources suggesting that the show is pushing for more seasons since there are still more stories that need to be explored.
