There is very little that "Star Wars" fans know about the plot of the spin-off movie that Lucasfilm is developing depicting the life of the young Han Solo, which will be portrayed by Alden Ehrenreich. What is currently clear is that it will follow Han's adventures as a young thief and smuggler that eventually leads him to own the Millennium Falcon. Recent reports suggest that filming for the yet-to-be titled Han Solo movie will start in January in London.

"This moves closer to a heist or Western type feel," said Kathleen Kennedy, chief of Lucasfilm, in a Variety article. "We've talked about Frederic Remington and those primary colors that are used in his paintings defining the look and feel of the film."

Aside from Ehrenreich, "Game of Thrones'" Mother of Dragons actress Emilia Clarke has been confirmed to join the cast. While it is still unclear who her character will be in the film, the announcement of her inclusion in the cast is enough to keep "Star Wars" fans overly excited.

Clarke has been successful in both television and film as her movies "Terminator Genisys," starring alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jai Courtney, and "Me Before You" with Sam Claflin were well received by moviegoers. It cannot be denied that she is more well known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in HBO's award-winning TV series "Game of Thrones."

Joining Clarke and Ehrenreich in the roster of talented young artists is Donald McKinley Glover who will play Lando Calrissian, Han's close friend in the "Star Wars" saga. Calrissian's life as a young scoundrel will also be highlighted in the film. Glover is known for his creation of the FX TV series "Atlanta" where he also starred. He was also part of the "Community's" four seasons and played a minor role in "The Martian," along with big names from Hollywood such as Matt Damon, Jeff Daniels, and Jessica Chastain.

The film will be directed by the duo Christopher Miller and Phil Lord. Screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan will be writing the screenplay. Kasdan is famous for his works on "The Empire Strikes Back," "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi," "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," "Raiders of the Lost Ark," and "The Bodyguard."

"Han Solo" the movie is expected to hit the big screen on May 25, 2018.
