'Star Wars Rebels' season 3 spoilers, plot rumors: Bendu to side with the dark force

The upcoming season 3 of "Star War Rebels" is being gradually unveiled after it was announced at the recently concluded Star Wars Celebration Europe held in London that the animated show will be ushering in, at least, two new characters: Bendu and Grand Admiral Thrawn.
One of the highlights of Star Wars Celebration Europe was the showing of the first two episodes of "Star Wars Rebels" season 3, which, obviously, whetted the appetite of its loyal fans. After the first two episodes were shown, questions have started forming in the heads of "Star Wars Rebels" fans, one of which is which side Bendu will be on once he joins the series.
To the uninitiated, Bendu is a giant character who will establish the connection between Kanan and the Force. After all, the character has always referred to himself as "the middle." He is also believed to be the one to help Kanan regain his lost vision.
While it is true that Bendu is neither a Sith nor a Jedi, there are now those who claim that, eventually, he will choose a side to be on, with others believing that he will eventually side with the dark force.
On the other hand, while it was already announced way prior to the Star Wars Celebration Europe that Thrawn will be ushered in to "Star Wars Rebels" season 3, the reconfirmation of his inclusion in the animated series at the event still added to the excitement of the fans over its upcoming season.
"If we bring him in, we have to think reasonably about, 'Where is he?' There are any number of reasonable answers as simple as, 'He's on a Star Destroyer.' You can reasonably say that. While there's the hunt for Luke Skywalker, there's all kinds of other things going on in the galaxy. That's a reasonable thing..." said "Star Wars Rebels" showrunner Dave Filoni at the Star Wars Celebrations.
Will Bendu really be on the side of the dark force? What will he do to help Kanan restore his eyesight? Find out when "Star Wars Rebels" season 3 airs over Disney XD this fall.
