Another flashback into the younger years of Steven will be featured in "Steven Universe" season 4. It has been revealed that Greg will sing a new song in the episode titled "Three Gems and a Baby."

The revelation was made by creator Rebecca Sugar herself during the New York Comic-Con where she also revealed the song title to be "I Could Never Be Ready." Fans of the cartoon series know that Greg is a single father and raising a son alone is not easy.

The song is a reflection of Greg's difficulties and fear as a new father without his wife to help him raise Steven. The flashback will happen as Greg tells Steven of their first winter together. The song is performed by Sugar herself and Tom Scharpling, who is the voice behind Greg.

It is not certain whether Steven's mom, Rose Quartz, will make an appearance but, as the title suggests, three Gems will be featured in the episode and they will be the three gem aunts who guided Steven while he was growing up. They are the ones who introduced baby Steven to a lot of things like different places.

The gems are Pearl, Amethyst, and Garnet. Pearl and Amethyst came to earth and Garnet was created. They came to earth when Steven was born. It has been revealed that Steven was born in December, which falls in the winter season .

Meanwhile, there are speculations that the upcoming episode will also serve as the season's finale since no title for the next episode has been revealed yet. The previous episode, titled "Gem Harvest," was aired on Nov. 17, and nothing is heard about the continuity of the season yet.

"Steven Universe" season 4 episode 9 will air on Dec. 1 and will be the show's Thanksgiving special.
