'Super Smash Bros. 4' news, characters, updates: Play now as Cloud Strife

Nintendo has announced recently in November during the Nintendo Direct livestream about including Cloud Strife to be a part of the Super Smash Bros. brawling game. Just yesterday, the addition of the much-anticipated character from Final Fantasy VII, Cloud Strife is finally confirmed. This was during the Nintendo's final presentation dedicated to Super Smash bros.
Cloud is a downloadable character for $5.99 in 3DS and Wii U consoles. Gamers can also download the character across both gaming platforms for $6.99. This made the character selection quite exciting for Sm4sh. The fans have waited long enough for Cloud Strife to be part of the Nintendo's fighting game and this was realized through the results of the online poll made by Nintendo.
Cloud Strife is not the first non-Nintendo character to have been added in the roster for Super Smash Bros. There have been Mega Man, Ryu, Sonic and Solid Snake that was also featured. This character addition might be quite exciting for all the Sm4sh fans. Cloud, being the most surprising character, is from Final Fantasy VII, a game that was never part of the Nintendo gaming system before.
Another character that can be downloaded is Bayonetta (Cereza, the Umbra witch). Bayonetta is a video game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Nintendo. The character will get to keep the orignal and version 2 costumes but it will be added later in February next year. In addition to this is the Fire Emblem hero, Corrin. He will also be included in the diverse characters of the game.
In related updates of Super Smash Bros., the Mii fighters can get a Geno costume from Super Mario RPG. There will also be additional Tails and Knuckles costumes this coming February. This might be the best video game of the year since it's currently trending in the gaming world news.
