'Teen Wolf' season 6 release date delayed due to Dylan O'Brien's injury?

Up until now, MTV has still not announced a premiere date for "Teen Wolf" season 6. Many believe that actor Dylan O'Brien's injury may have something to do with it and could even lead to the show's release date being pushed back.
O'Brien was hurt on the set of "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure," which has already been delayed. Reports claim that due to O'Brien's injury and road to recovery, "Teen Wolf" season 6 may suffer the same fate. Despite these rumors, MTV has not spoken out nor set an official date for the show's release.
As for what fans can expect once the new season arrives, Entertainment Weekly has revealed a bit of information in its Spoiler Room. Season 5 saw the Nazi werewolf fleeing, so it's only logical that the upcoming season will deal with that problem. With the Nazi werewolf on the run, the pack will have to do whatever they can to capture him.
"We have a Nazi werewolf, which might be the most interesting villain we've ever had on the show," said Tyler Posey, who plays pack leader Scott McCall. He proceeds to explain that the Nazi werewolf marks the oldest werewolf they've ever encountered, which means he might possess some special abilities. "He's not a normal werewolf," he continued.
Additionally, the sixth season of the MTV series will also see a few scenes from the past. "We do have a couple flashback scenes to Nazi Germany," showrunner Jeff Davis teased.
Apart from that, it was previously reported that Posey's character will be loveless for the first time in a while. Arden Cho, who plays Scott's love interest Kira Yukimura, will not be reprising her role in the upcoming season. This means fans will get to see a single Scott when the show returns. It's something new for the character, so excitement is definitely in the air.
Although "Teen Wolf" season 6 does not have a premiere date yet, it is widely expected to return this fall on MTV.
