'Teen Wolf' season 6 spoilers, plot, cast news: Tyler Posey talks about his character's love life

Lead character Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) will live through season 6 of "Teen Wolf" without a love story. He has had two love interests on the show so far, one of which ended in tragedy and the other put on indefinite hold.
Posey was asked by MTV News about what he feels about the development, and he said, "It was something I've always been interested in because from the very first episode of 'TeenWolf,' he falls in love with Allison and then they break up and he immediately meets Kira—– so there wasn't really much single time for Scott."
Posey went on to share that the situation of his character now reflects his romantic status in real life. He said, "This is the first two years I'm really single, so I relate to it with Scott. And I thought it was something that every person has to go through in their life — grow on their own and really figure out who they are."
The beginning of the series revolved heavily on the love story of Scott and Allison Argent (Crystal Reed). As Tyler turns into a werewolf, he falls in love with a girl who belongs to a family of werewolf hunters. They broke up in season 2, and in season 3, both of them found love with other partners.
Fans were expecting the two to be the endgame of the series, but it became impossible with Reed's exit from the series that resulted to the death of her character. Kira (Arden Cho), on the other hand, has chosen to live and train with the Sand Walkers indefinitely. She has not been signed to join the sixth season.
Meanwhile, talks are rife that the main cast of "Teen Wolf" will leave after the season. Scott, Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), Lydia (Holland Roden), and Malia (Shelley Hennig) are graduating from high school and younger cast members were introduced in the previous season.
There is no official word coming from the producers and the premiere has yet to be announced as well.
