'The Originals' season 2 episode 18 spoilers: Can Mikael help Klaus save baby Hope from his Evil aunt Dahlia?

"The Originals" will be back soon with an exciting story arc that involves evil aunt Dahlia. It was revealed in the previous episode that Klaus' mother, Esther, made a fertility pact with her power-hungry sister, Dahlia.
In exchange for the gift of bearing children, Dahlia would take the first born Mikaelson child of every generation. The first generation saw Esther's first-born, Freya, being taken away but stopped when all her children transformed into vampires. Now that Dahlia is on the lookout for another Mikaelson first-born, Hope, what will Klaus do?
International Business Times reports that Klaus will enlist the help of his father Mikael, but this may prove to be difficult. Fans of the series know that his father hates him, so how will he persuade him to help him protect baby Hope? Mikael is the only one that can stop his wife's sister.
Hayley and Rebekah will work together to track down Dahlia while Elijah and Marcel will prepare a safe-house with Josephine's help in Algiers. Jackson will propose an idea to Hayley that will help her protect Hope. What could this idea be? The idea is also described as risky in TVGuide's official episode synopsis. Meanwhile, Aiden becomes torn between his loyalty to Jackson and his secret deal with Klaus.
In an interview with TVGuide, actor Joseph Morgan, who essays the role of Klaus, revealed that his character wants Aiden in his pocket. He said, "Klaus is really trying to get Aiden in his back pocket because if Aiden can take the pack, then he's manipulating Jackson out of the way and getting into the position where he can take him out. We'll see more of that." Speaking about how Aiden thinks he shoukd lead the pack, Morgan said that he feels he is a better leader but wondered whether he could take the pressure. "We are going to go further in that story line and see how Aiden feels with all the pressure of that", Morgan revealed.
"The Originals" returns on Monday, April 13 at 8 p.m. ET on CW.
