'Vampire Diaries' season 7 spoilers: Damon wants BFF Bonnie back in episode 19

Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will do anything to repair his broken friendship with Bonnie (Kat Graham) in the upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries."
In the episode "Somebody That I Used to Know," which was previously known as "Time, As a Symptom," CarterMatt reports that the witch's life is in danger, but boyfriend Enzo (Michael Malarkey) will not be able to help her. In fact, his attempt to protect her from the Armory will only lead to further harm. Soon, the pair will learn that Rayna (guest star Leslie Anne-Huff) may be Bonnie's only salvation. They have to convince her to help them, but the vampire hunter may not be so easy to persuade.
In comes Damon, who is desperate to make it up to Bonnie for leaving her for the past three years. The Salvatore vampire knows he has been selfish, only thinking about himself when he decided to take the desiccation path. Although Bonnie repeatedly asked him not to do it, he did not listen to her. Now that he is back, he will make sure to bring back their old friendship. Bonnie was there for him when he went through a lot because of Elena (Nina Dobrev). Her continued attempts to reject him will not scare him away.
In fact, Damon will do everything to prove he is sorry, even if it means asking Rayna to use him as a hired assassin for her targets in exchange for helping Bonnie. In the promo, the vampire is trying to convince the hunter that he is perfect for the job. Rayna, however, appears bored by the whole thing. When it becomes apparent she has no time to listen to him, Damon switches to helping Bonnie out with her hunt to kill as many monsters as she can. She is obviously still pissed at him, though. Will Damon be successful in his mission?
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
