'Tokyo Ghoul: re' chapter 100 air date, spoilers, news & update: Ghouls unhappy with Kaneki's plan to co-exist with humans; will Nimura oppose Kaneki?

"Tokyo Ghoul" fans seem to be all set for the year. Not only is their favorite anime set to return for a third season, but a new story arc is set to commence in "Tokyo Ghoul: re."
"Tolyo Ghoul: re" chapter 100 will reportedly pick up the pace of the new story arc, one that teases Kaneki attempting to convince ghouls and humans to live in harmony. The arrival of a new villain is also hinted at, but whether its Nimura or Furuta himself remains to be seen.
The previous chapter saw Kaneki enjoying peace for once. The idealistic half-human, half-ghoul is seen enjoying some quiet time with Irimi, Koma, Mr. Yomo, Nishio, and Touka. However, the interlude was short-lived as the ghouls who disagreed with Kaneki's plan to live in peace with humans start to make their feelings known.
Chapter 100 will reportedly show whether Kaneki, now known as the "One Eyed King," can handle the pressures of power, as his victory over Arima has given him a certain command over the ghouls. But as expected, Kaneki's desire for both species to co-exist was met with disdain by some of the ghouls who appear to have trouble accepting his reported human-loving ways. However, Kaneki is backed by the majority of ghouls who believe in his power and leadership capabilities.
The upcoming chapter will allegedly show new alliances being developed and the opposition rallying around Nimura, who's rumored to be challenging Kaneki's authority. However, Nimura and the opinions of other ghouls are far from being Kaneki's only problem. Furuta is shaping up to be a powerful, if underhanded, leader of both the Clowns and the V factions.
The CCG is also in the picture, and fans are no doubt waiting to see whether the department will finally discover where Kaneki is.
No set release date for "Tokyo Ghoul: re" has been set yet, but fans are hoping the manga will be released sometime this week.
