'Vikings' season 4 episode 3 spoilers: Bjorn fights in the wilderness

In the upcoming episode 3, titled "Mercy," of the fourth season of "Vikings," expect to see Bjorn battle it out in the wilderness.
The official synopsis taken from zap2it reads: "Ragnar informs Floki of a heavy price he has paid for his actions; Rollo finds an unlikely ally in Count Odo; Bjorn has to fight a fierce opponent in the wilderness."
In the recently released 40-second promo trailer of the next episode, the show maintains its brutality as Ragnar may put an end to the suffering of two hostages--perhaps, through death.
Meanwhile, here is a rundown of the previous episode, titled "Kill the Queen."
In the wilderness, Bjorn Ironside found himself struggling as he searched for something to eat. Floki, on the other hand, was being hunted down by Ragnar and Ubbe, after he escaped Kattegat. Floki decided to travel via water to send the Vikings off trail, but he ended up unsuccessful.
Although Helga could not admit right away of assisting her husband Floki's escape, Ragnar understood that it was her duty as a wife. With Floki's disappearance, Ragnar felt responsible to provide Helga and her daughter with food since winter is approaching.
Ubbe was the one who captured Floki, bringing him back to Kattegat. Ragnar interrogated Floki (via torture) if the gods did ask him to kill Athelstan, or if it was just a result of Floki's jealousy.
Meanwhile, Queen Kwenthrith and her son Magnus were held hostage by the Mercia, who believed that she is not the real queen. King Ecbert teamed up with King Aelle in rescuing the mother and son. Ecbert's son Aethelwulf successfully rescued the two.
Speaking of Aethelwulf, his wife Judith was offered the choice to be "free" by his father Ecbeth. This, of course, was in exchange for Judith to show her father-in-law how to paint the holy books, which is forbidden for women.
"Vikings" season 4 airs every Thursday at 10 p.m. on the History Channel.
