Xperia XZ vs. Galaxy S7 specs comparison review: Which is the better smartphone?

With the plentiful choices of smartphones these days, it can be hard to tell which one is best for a certain lifestyle.
Since the release of Samsung's Galaxy S7, many are wondering about how it will stack up against the models of its competitors, such as the Xperia XZ.
According to reports, the two devices will both utilize Android as their operating software. However, they will differ in a lot of other aspects.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be slightly smaller than the Xperia XZ. The former is said to measure 5.61 x 2.74 x 0.31 inches while the latter's dimensions are 5.75 x 2.83 x 0.32 inches.
With regards to its screens, the Xperia XZ will have a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 424 ppi. In the meantime, the Galaxy S7 will have a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen but boasts a slightly clearer resolution at 1440 x 2560 pixels and 576 ppi.
As for the material of the smart phones, the Galaxy S7 is said to have a glass body with accents of aluminum. On the other hand, the Xperia XZ will have a metal body.
Meanwhile, the Xperia XZ will have a significantly better camera, using up to 23 megapixels for the rear camera and 13 megapixels for the front camera. The Galaxy S7 will only have 12 megapixels for its rear camera and a 5-megapixel front . Both will have LED flash. The two smartphones will also boast of exposure compensation, ISO control, and White balance presets.
The Galaxy S7 will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 8 Octa 8890. The graphic processor for the Samsung smartphone is the ARM Mali T880 MP12. In the meantime, the Xperia XZ will utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processors. Its battery power will be 2900 mAh while the S7 uses a 3000 mAh battery.
Both will have a built-in storage of 32 GB which could be expanded via microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC.
