Ubisoft has recently announced the other downloadable content (DLC) for "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate." This time, however, it won't involve any scientist or famous novelist but instead, the main highlight of this DLC is the most notorious and infamous serial killer of all time, The Whitechapel Murderer or commonly referred to as Jack the Ripper.

According to the report by GameSpot, Ubisoft first announced this content during Sony's Pre-Tokyo Game Show PlayStation Conference. The content, as revealed by the publisher, will take place precisely 20 years after the events of the original game, "Assassin's Creed."

In terms of the plot, the game is said to be "set during the Autumn of Terror in Whitechapel, 1888, a killer's abominable acts of murder and mutilation terrorise London, creating widespread panic and worldwide media attention," Ubisoft said.

"Players will join forces with Inspector Frederick Abberline of Scotland Yard, to hunt down Jack The Ripper in a deadly game of cat and mouse with the infamous serial killer."

Furthermore, Ubisoft has also revealed the other contents that will be included in this DLC. As reported on GameSpot, "Jack the Ripper DLC" is said to come with many new added missions like "The Last Maharaja" pack, "A Long Night" exclusive mission pack, "Streets of London" gameplay pack, two sets of gear and weapons, that are top-tier, specifically called the Steampunk Pack and the Victorian Legend pack and lastly, an exclusive XP boost for players who bought the Season Pass. The last one will stay permanently in the account, so there is no need to worry about it expiring.

Unfortunately, Ubisoft still hasn't announced the official release date of this DLC or even the official price for that matter. However, since there's a Season Pass exclusive, fans who bought the pass, may get this game for free when it comes out.

"Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" is set for launch next month, Oct. 23 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. The PC release, on the other hand, isn't due for launch until "Holiday 2015."
