There is no doubt that taking on the defending La Liga champions Barcelona is the most daunting challenge a club can endure this season, and that task falls to the hands of Getafe this Saturday.

Barcelona are undefeated in their past 36 matches in all competitions, including 11 in La Liga play, and are looking to extend it to 37 games when they host Getafe at Camp Nou.

Barca have 72 points this season in La Liga and are on the top spot of the table, a position they are expected to keep since the closest to them are Atlético Madrid with 64 points.

The upcoming match gets tougher for the visitors as Brazilian striker Neymar is now allowed to play after serving a one-game suspension, Sports Mole reported.

That completes Barcelona's most dangerous offensive weapon, the striking trio of Neymar, Lionel Messi, and Luis Suarez.

According to Sports Mole, Barcelona's 4–0 victory over Eibar in their previous La Liga outing gave the trio a total of 100 goals this season, something to take note defensively for Getafe.

Meanwhile, Getafe are close to relegation as they currently have an eight-match winless streak which include seven consecutive losses and a draw.

Getafe are 16th in the table with only 27 points, just a point ahead of Rayo Vallecano (17th) and Granada (18th) that both have 26 points.

Despite the current struggles they are facing, Getafe midfielder Álvaro Medrán believes they can score an upset this Saturday.

"We are very confident," the 21-year-old Spaniard stated, according to Goal.com

"We have quality and we can take this situation forward, doing what we know we can do, giving everything we can to take something positive from there. Every team has a weak point and we have to attack theirs," Medran continued.
