'Batman: Arkham Knight' PC update: huge update to PC brings it up to speed with console versions; full Season Pass content details revealed

When "Batman: Arkham Knight" came out, it had received raves from critics and all the console gamers. Unfortunately, though, the PC version had been plagued with issues right from the start. But it seems that the long wait for fans is finally over. A PC patch and a re-launch of the title is due before October ends with a few good news for those who wants to catch up on what console buyers have been enjoying the past four months.
As previously reported, Warner Bros. is looking at re-releasing "Batman: Arkham Knight" for the PC before October ends so that those who were unable to grab a hold of it when it was pulled out of Steam and retailer shelves can finally do so. Those who did get the game will also get a new patch, which promises to bring them up to par with what is playable on the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One, by the end of month.
In the Steam community page for the game, social marketing manager Gaz Deaves dived into more details about the said patch:
"The end of October update is currently planned to bring the PC version fully up-to-date with all of the patch content and non-exclusive DLC released across all platforms at that point. So when it launches, BAK for PC will have content-parity with console (with the exception of platform-exclusive DLC)."
While the patch is still in the works, Season Pass holders in the meantime can look forward to the release of the remaining exclusive downloadable content. Rocksteady has just posted a roundup of what other content to expect from the game.
According to the list posted on the community site, there are massive contents coming this October throughout December. The content varies from skins to Batmobile packs (including one for the upcoming "Batman v Superman," arriving in November) to free updates. There are also new challenge packs (six AR challenges each in October and November) and two new episodes (each with a short story mission and two AR challenge maps, coming in November). In December, gamers can also look forward to a pack called "Most Wanted Expansion," with four new missions.
The Season Pass is retailed at $39.99. "Batman: Arkham Knight" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One.
