Activision, the game publisher of the popular first-person shooter "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," has recently released the very first teaser trailer for the IP's upcoming downloadable content titled "Skyjacked" from the "Awakening" expansion.

"Get ready for Skyjacked, one of four new maps included in the Awakening DLC Pack," the official description wrote on the YouTube post. "'Skyjacked' brings the 'Call of Duty®: Black Ops II' fan-favorite 'Hijacked' back to life on a security VTO'L over urban Zurich, offering a variety of new ways to explore the map with 'Call of Duty®: Black Ops III's' core movement system."

According to the report from IGN last year, the other three multiplayer maps that are included in the "Awakening" expansion pack are: Rise, a snowy but deserted construction facility, Splash, which is set in an abandoned waterpark, and Gauntlet, a map that is set in a military facility that has few different environments. Aside from these multiplayer areas, fans who will buy this expansion will get receive a new Zombies story map, which is now the fourth episode in the game series, called "Der Eisendrache."

As for the launch date of "Awakening," GameSpot has reported that Sony's PlayStation 4 users will get to receive the contents first, which is set to come out on Feb. 2, while players on the other platform, specifically on PC and on the Xbox One, will be released at a much later date.

Unfortunately, the source did not drop any specific release date for the two other platforms. At this point, it would be very best for fans to just wait for more announcements coming from Activision or even "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" developer, Treyarch.
