"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" players who may have initially missed out on the "The Giant" DLC Zombies map can now get it as a standalone purchase.

Initially, "The Giant" was only made available to players who purchased certain editions of last year's "Call of Duty" game, with those being the Digital Deluxe, "Hardened" and "Juggernog" editions.

The bonus map was also included in the game's season pass. But now, more players will be given the opportunity to try it out.

In "The Giant," players will venture through a remake of the Zombies map Der Riese.

While going through the mysterious research facility included in this map, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" players will also be re-acquainted with the likes of Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen and Takeo as they fend off numerous undead creatures, according to Activision.

"The Giant" is now currently available for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The map is also being made available to PS3 players with availability for other last-gen platforms expected to be announced sometime later.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" players interested in purchasing "The Giant" DLC Zombies map for their preferred platforms can get it for $5.99.

In related news, a new DLC pack may also be released for the first-person shooting game very soon.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, the game's next DLC pack, which would be the third one released for the game, may be released sometime this month.

With PS4 players receiving the second DLC pack, "Eclipse," back in April, and PC and Xbox One players receiving it in May, it may be time for some new content to be released again.

Similar to the first two DLC packs released for the game, DLC 3 is also expected to introduce new multiplayer maps as well as new Zombies mode content.
