The past few days have been truly devastating especially for fans of the "Dota 2 The International 2015" winner, Evil Geniuses. It was recently revealed that AUI_2000, the support player of team EG, was kicked out of the roster after the biggest tournament in eSports concluded.

The shocking news was revealed last Aug. 15 by Kurtis "AUI_2000" Ling himself, who took to Twitter to tell everyone that "i have been kicked from eg after winning ti. i actually hate people."

Evil Geniuses manager, Charlie Yang, also tweeted about the incident, according to Gosu Gamers. Unfortunately, Yang did not disclose any information or explain why they had to let go of Ling. The manager was "deeply affected and very sad to see Kurtis go." He added, "I cannot state enough how depressed I am to see him go. I cannot imagine how much worse he feels."

Not long after Ling's departure from the team, it was immediately announced that Artous "Arteezy" Babaev would soon fill in the free spot in the team, Evil Geniuses.

Arteezy, or also referred to as RTZ, was a former EG member along with his teammate from Team Secret, Ludwig "Zai" Wahlberg. Aside from Ling being kicked out, the news of his return to EG was also a total shock.

Changes in the roster, however, are pretty common after big tournaments like "The International." Many professional teams in the industry tend to change their lineup to prepare for the upcoming "Dota 2" tournaments. However, what made the team's move surprising is because it was their first, especially considering they have just won the biggest tournament in eSports history.

For now, the current lineup of Evil Geniuses includes Clinton "Fear" Loomis, Saahil "Universe" Arora, Peter "PPD" Dager, Artous "Arteezy" Babaev and the young prodigy, Syed "Sumail" Hassan. No word yet on what their official positions in the team are.
