'Fallout 4' Pip-Boy Deluxe Bluetooth edition launches with a $350 price tag

When it comes to the game "Fallout 4," one of its most famous add-ons has been the wearable Pip-Boy, although it has never been very sturdy. The game's developer, Bethesda, seems to have taken fan complaints into consideration and recently, they released a Deluxe Bluetooth edition of the Pip-Boy.
The Verge points out that last year's edition of the Pip-Boy is inferior compared to this year's version. It outlines how last year, Bethesda just released a sleeve into which the player had to slot their smartphone into. This sleeve had to be worn on the hand of the player and they could use the associated iOS or Android apps along with it. However, this year, Bethesda appeared to want to give players a better experience with the Pip-Boy Deluxe Bluetooth edition, which looks and works just like the gadget does in the game.
Integrated into the most recent Bluetooth edition of the Pip-Boy is a screen with software and hardware to back it up. More importantly, the device pairs up with a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth and it will therefore allow users to take calls when they come in through their phone. Once the pairing is complete, they will also be able to access the contacts they have stored on their phone or table, read any text messages that come in, and last but most importantly, access screens connected to the "Fallout 4" game.
Also, as the Pip-Boy was made official, Bethesda took to its website to provide more information about it. It showcased how the knobs and dials on it are actually functional and they provide added realism to the Pip-Boy. It is also designed to fit onto the arms of gamers, and even when it is being worn, it will provide a comfortable experience as it is lined with foam to minimize any injury to the wrist.
As for its weight, the Pip-Boy tips the scale at two pounds so it is going to be pretty bulky. Currently, the Pip-Boy is priced at $350.00 and it is available as a pre-order item.
