'Final Fantasy 15' updates: Moogle Chocobo Carnival begins, to continue until Feb. 19

(Facebook/Final Fantasy XV)"Final Fantasy 15" Moogle Chocobo Carnival will be available until February 19.

"Final Fantasy 15" Moogle Chocobo Carnival has finally begun yesterday, Jan. 23, at 5 p.m. PST / 8 p.m. EST, but it is never too late for those who have not experienced it yet as it will be up until Feb. 19.

To the uninitiated, the "Final Fantasy 15" Moogle Chocobo Carnival is a time-sensitive feature of "Final Fantasy 15" that enables players to travel to a virtual carnival in its fictional Altissia so that they can take part in carnival games and chocobo races, engage in the latest side quests, and enjoy some treats.

However, in order to experience the "Final Fantasy 15" Moogle Chocobo Carnival, one needs to download the Holiday Pack that the game released last December. While some paid for it, it came for free for others.

The free Holiday Pack includes: Warrior's Fanfare, Nixperience Band, Carnival Passport, Choco-Mog Tee.

On the other hand, the Holiday Pack , which comes with the "Final Fantasy 15" Premium Edition and Season Pass holders, offers Ring of Resistance, Tech Turbocharger, Armiger Accelerator, Blitzer's Fanfare, Tactician's Fanfare, Key of Prosperity, Stamina Badge, Carnival Passport, Festive Ensemble (available late January), and Holiday Pack Exclusive Photo Frames (available late January).

"Final Fantasy 15" Moogle Chocobo Carnival is said to be one of Square Enix's ways to continue promoting "Final Fantasy 15," which arrived to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last month.

On the other hand, Engadget opines that the "Final Fantasy 15" Moogle Chocobo Carnival is one of the best ways to address the common complaints about solo games, and that is how to keep the gamers who are still waiting for the official content packs. The online publication believes that the said event by "Final Fantasy 15" may have no significant impact on the game proper but it can be enough to renew the interest of the players and eventually lure them to stay with the game.
