Additional details regarding Google's new Pixel phones keep pouring out, and this time around, the specs of the Pixel XL, also known by its codename Google Marlin, were revealed courtesy of a Geekbench appearance.

As noted over on Geekbench, the new smartphone will apparently feature 4GB of RAM as well as a newer version of the Android Nougat operating system.

Disappointingly though, the Geekbench appearance seemingly reveals that the new smartphone will not feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 processor and will instead utilize the Snapdragon 820.

More specs of the Google Marlin were also revealed earlier this year, courtesy of a report from Android Police.

According to that earlier report, the new Google smartphone may offer variants that can provide either 32GB or 128GB of internal storage to go with the aforementioned 4GB of RAM.

The Marlin may also feature a 12-megapixel primary camera paired up with a front-facing shooter that offers up to eight megapixels. The smartphone codenamed Marlin is also expected to provide users with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display, and it may also come equipped with a fingerprint scanner.

Along with the Marlin/Pixel XL, Google is also expected to release another smartphone which has been codenamed Sailfish.

The Sailfish is expected to feature specs pretty similar to the ones offered by the Marlin, though it will likely have a smaller 5-inch display. The smartphone currently known by the codename Sailfish is also expected to have the official name of Pixel, according to a separate report from Android Police.

Both the Marlin and the Sailfish are also reportedly set to make their official debuts soon, with the latest rumors hinting that they could be shown off to the public for the first time early next month.

More details about the Google Marlin/Pixel XL and the Google Sailfish/Pixel should be made available in the near future.
