Apple has been releasing beta versions of iOS 9.3 to developers and users who signed up for its testing program. With the arrival of iOS 9.3 being highly anticipated, the beta versions of the operating system have been grabbing a lot of headlines with their features and the same happened when the third beta was sent out to developers.

Importantly, the third beta for iOS 9.3 arrived a few days ago for developers and with it, some new features were revealed. One of them gives the ability to those who use the carrier Verizon to make calls over Wi-Fi when the main cellular connection is experiencing low signal levels. Additionally, 9to5Mac states that this particular feature is going to be welcomed by those who use Verizon when the 9.3 update is finally released as T-Mobile and AT&T customers already have the feature. Other new features noticed in the third iOS 9.3 beta include icons appearing in landscape mode when users are going through the Night Shift Explainer in the control center.

Since users and developers have been trying out the iOS 9.3 beta, many people have been praising the features included. Consensus opinion has reportedly indicated that with the first beta, the load times for apps has been reduced along with the News apps getting a number of improvements, which has resulted in the articles being refreshed faster.

When the first beta for iOS 9.3 arrived, most of the attention was hogged by the Night Shift feature, which changes the color of the screen in the night time to ensure that people can get to sleep faster after using their iPhone or tablet. As for other new features included in the beta, they were 3D touch shortcuts and Notes that could be provided with security using the Touch ID feature on the iPhone. The second beta was significant in that it introduced a toggle in the control center which would be used when turning on Night Shift.
