While the iPhone SE has been capturing the attention of those who prefer smaller-screened smartphones, it is clear that the device will have to take on much sturdier devices like the Motorola Droid Turbo 2. Here is how these two devices compare in a face-off.

Design

There is a metal body on the iPhone SE and this is one of its best features as it gives the phone a great look and sturdiness. As for colors, the iPhone SE comes in gray, silver, gold, and rose gold. Its fingerprint scanner is included in its home button, but on the Droid Turbo 2, there is no such mechanism so it can't be used to unlock the device. Coming to the build of the Droid Turbo 2, it has a metal frame, but its back panel is made from different materials and users can choose from the Moto Maker website where they can also opt for a leather version. The outstanding feature of the Droid Turbo 2 is its shatterproof screen that ensures no cracking in case the device drops.

Display

The Droid Turbo 2 is the bigger device and it comes with an AMOLED display measuring 5.4 inches with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and density of 540 pixels per inch. As for the iPhone SE, it has an IPS LCD, display measuring 4.0 inches with a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels and density of 326 pixels per inch.

Hardware

Both these devices have pretty good hardware, but the chipset on the Droid Turbo 2 is slower as it is a Snapdragon 810 version, coupled with an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 430 GPU. On board the iPhone SE is an Apple A9 chipset, coupled with a dual-core 1.84 GHz Twister CPU and a PowerVR GT7600 GPU.

Memory

No memory slot is present on the iPhone SE so external storage cannot be added, while the version on the Droid Turbo 2 supports up to 200 GB in its slot. As for RAM, the Droid Turbo 2 is ahead with 3 GB, while the iPhone SE has 2 GB.

Camera

On board the Droid Turbo 2 is a 21-megapixel camera, while the iPhone SE has a 12-megapixel version.

Price

The iPhone SE has a price tag of $399 unlocked, while the Droid Turbo 2 costs $624 unlocked.
