"iZombie" season 3 is set to return sometime in 2017 and that would still be a long wait for fans who have been dying to know what happens when Seattle will be overrun by zombies. However, actress Rose McIver, who plays Liv in the series, gave some interesting tidbits about what's to come in the next season.

In a recent interview with DC Entertainment, the Australian actress admitted that she doesn't know much about what's going to happen in season 3. However, she is glad that almost everyone in her circle pretty much knows about the existence of zombies. One in particular is her partner Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin), who discovered that Liv is a zombie and zombies exist toward the season 2 finale.

Now that her ex-fiancé Major (Robert Buckley) has also turned into a zombie, McIver shared that she looks forward to seeing him take on different personalities, just like how her character did for the past two seasons.

With Major turning back into a full zombie, there are also speculations that he and Liv will be back together. It can be recalled that the Liv-Major pairing couldn't seem to work out because one of them is a zombie. Now that both of them are, there might be a chance that the lovers will pick up where they left off next season.

Clive and Dale's (Jessica Harmon) relationship is also one of the things to look forward to next season. In the season 2 finale, the two had broken up and it remains to be seen if they will be back together soon. If McIver had it her way, she would want Dale to be back. "I want her to come back and to be in the know and to be with Clive again. That's like my one true pairing..." McIver said in the interview. "I ship them so hard," she added.

Fans will just have to wait if the romance between Major and Liv and Clive and Dale will bloom again once season 3 returns.
