'Mass Effect Andromeda' news: More details about the new game's planets recently revealed

Exploration is expected to be a focal point of "Mass Effect Andromeda's" gameplay and that includes discovering and traveling through planets.
Recently, new details about "Andromeda's" planets were shared by producer Michael Gamble.
During an interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine, that was reported on by Power Up Gaming, Gamble talked about their philosophy behind creating the game's planets, sharing that they have attempted to "create experiences that have the right density and amount of content."
Gamble also indicated that he and the other developers are attempting to strike that perfect balance that brings players planets that are neither too small nor too expansive.
Aside from attempting to perfectly balance the planets inside the game, developers are also seemingly intent on being able to deliver varied experiences with each and every one of these new locations.
Speaking earlier to Game Informer, Gamble mentioned that planetary environments are expected to vary.
Some of the planets inside "Mass Effect Andromeda" may feature snowy settings, others may be most remarkable for their high levels of radiation and there are other types of environments that players can expect to encounter.
Beyond those interesting weather patterns that may greet players upon arrival, the game's planets may still have more to offer, with creative director Mac Walters noting that the goal for the developers is to make each planet "memorable."
For players who may now be getting intimidated by the idea of having to explore and go through all of "Andromeda's" planets, they should know that while some planets cannot be skipped over because of the overarching narrative, others are not and are even entirely optional, meaning they only need to be explored if players really want to, as the developers over at BioWare told Game Informer.
More details about these planets should be shared soon, and "Mass Effect Andromeda" itself is expected to be made available sometime early next year.
