Michael Schumacher health condition latest news: Sabin Kehm says fallen raiser continues to show improvement

Michael Schumacher continues to show signs of improvement, according to spokesperson Sabine Kehm, although the recovery continues to be at a snail's pace.

Regardless, the fact remains the same that the fallen F1 legend continues to do the improbable and fight his way toward possibly living a normal life.

With his actual state continuously kept at a minimum, Kehm is the sole point of reference on Michael Schumacher's progress. This comes 17 months after suffering from that fatal skiing accident in the French Alps.

Kehm adds that despite the rough road ahead, all people involved with Schumacher will continue to fight and pull for the fallen driver.

Many of Schmacher's comrades have come forward to say their piece and most have aired their support for the fallen F1 racing legend.

The fact that Schumacher is still hanging in there is a good sign that he is fighting. Medical technology and personnel have played a big part of that, of course, but the chances of survival are still there.

It calls to mind the fate of another driver who suffered a worse fate - Jules Bianchi.

Bianchi was victim to a horrible accident at the Japanese Grand Prix in October, 2014 after sustaining severe head injuries. That happened when his car collided with a recovery tractor. Bianchi fought until the very end until passing away back in July, 2015.

Right now there is no telling what Kehm meant when she was referring to the continuous improvement of Schumacher. It is the best that fans can get for now with the family wanting to keep his health condition status at a minimum.

Either way, the important thing right now is Schumi is up there fighting. Getting back a normal life may be close to a miracle and continued prayers and support are the best things that anyone can do right now.
