A new roster update is now available to download for "NBA 2K16," and it properly accounts for the stellar performances that have been put on by some of the league's best players this postseason.

First off, two members of the San Antonio Spurs are getting higher overall ratings courtesy of the recently released update.

Spurs swingman Kawhi Leonard had his overall rating bumped up to 94, while teammate LaMarcus Aldridge had his mark increased by 2 points, putting it at 89, after posting a solid start to the postseason.

Klay Thompson, shooting guard for the Golden State Warriors, also had his overall mark raised up to 90 as he has stepped into a bigger role in the wake of teammate Stephen Curry sustaining an injury.

Other players who received higher overall ratings courtesy of the latest "NBA 2K16" patch were Cleveland Cavaliers teammates Kyrie Irving and J.R. Smith, as well as Miami Heat forward Luol Deng.

The latest roster update also decreased the overall ratings of some players who have struggled this postseason, as can be seen in this post shared by Operation Sports.

Two players received 3 point drops via the latest roster update, with the first being San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker, who had his overall rating drop all the way down to 79.

Al Horford of the Atlanta Hawks was the other player to incur a 3 point drop, and his overall mark now sits at 80.

In addition to the latest roster update, a new patch has also been released for the Xbox One port of "NBA 2K16, according to a recent post from the game's official Twitter account.

The patch does not include any new features, though it does update some player portraits. The newly available Xbox One patch was released a few days earlier for the PS4.

More news about future "NBA 2K16" roster updates should be made available in the weeks ahead.
