Earlier this week, 2K sports, the publisher of the popular basketball game, "NBA 2K16," announced the inclusion of Indiana Pacers' Paul George on the cover. There are now four NBA players featured on the cover of the game; they are, Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry and James Harden.

According to the report by GameSpot, the publisher announced the news on Tuesday, Feb. 15. However, George's inclusion is a bit different compared to Davis, Curry and Harden's cover, as the two-time NBA All-Star will be the first-ever athlete to become the cover star of the "NBA 2K16" companion app called "MyNBA 2K16."

This app, as explained on GameSpot, will serve as an alternative method to view the player's records from the MyCareer gameplay or even the stats of its basketball star, which is called MyPlayer. In addition, the "MyNBA 2K16" app, made by 2K's Cat Daddy Games, will also include the card game called "MyTeam Mobile."

As for the physical copy of the game, GameSpot said that the distribution of the covers will be random. However, if the fan thinks that the other two cover stars deserve to be on the cover, they can just simply flip the cover and switch them with the other NBA stars.

"NBA 2K16" is set to be released later this month, on Sept. 29. The sports game is said to be available for previous gen consoles, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, next gen consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as on the PC platform.

For the fans who are really eager to try the new game out, especially those who already pre-ordered it, as reported by GameSpot last May, they can play the game a little bit early than everyone else — to be specific, four days earlier than the expected launch date of "NBA 2K16."
