'Pokemon Z' release date: Long-rumored game canceled to give way for 'Pokemon Sun and Moon'?

Nintendo, as past rumors have pointed out, was supposed to announce the long-rumored game "Pokemon Z" last February. However, it appears like the publisher has a different plan in mind. According to reports, Nintendo has allegedly canceled the development of "Pokemon Z" to give way for the two new titles "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

However, many fans might start to ask the question: What about Zygarde and its final form? It seems like The Pokemon Company has embedded a potential clue for it in the official trailer for "Pokemon Sun and Moon." According to a speculation made by a YouTuber who goes by the name dookieshed, Zygarde and the two monsters that have yet to be revealed — Volcanion and Mangearna — are all set to appear in both "Sun and Moon," hence the line "it all comes together in 2016," which was said on the official game trailer.

If this turns out to be accurate, then fans of the "Pokemon" franchise can expect a very massive game this 2016.

As for the details of "Pokemon Sun and Moon," many fans were actually hoping to see a new trailer or gameplay footage on the recent episode of the Japanese TV show "Gathering at the Pokemon House." Sadly, no new contents have been featured on the episode, Serebii reported. The only clip that the production has shown was from the February 2016 trailer for "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

There is, however, a tidbit of information that series director Junichi Masuda dropped during the episode. It appears like there are at least 10 new monsters that are set to be introduced in "Pokemon Sun and Moon," Masuda said jokingly.

No other updates have been dropped during the episode, aside from the ones that have already been mentioned. With that in mind, it would be highly advisable for the fans to wait for further news coming from developer Game Freak and The Pokemon Company, and take every rumor with a pinch of salt and consider it as a mere speculation until proven otherwise.
