Tech giant and game publisher Microsoft has recently announced that the upcoming third-person shooter, "Quantum Break," is now going to be available for the Windows 10 PC, according to Microsoft Executive Aaron Greenberg during his interview with Major Nelson on their podcast via GameSpot.

Because of this move, some fans have been worried about the company's focus on the PC version. However, Greenberg has reassured everyone that this won't be the case and that the console will still receive the majority of their attention.

"People should know: Xbox is a big priority and a huge commitment," the Microsoft exec said. "Please do not let the fact that we are also launching a game on the same day on Windows 10 change your perspective on the importance of the console business [or] our commitment to innovating on console."

With all these in mind, the company is perfectly aware that many enthusiasts might not agree with their decision. However, Greenberg has addressed everyone that Microsoft is currently experimenting on many aspects, including this recent announcement.

"We want to do different things and try different things and say, 'Hey, what do you think of this, what do you think of that?' We do listen. Good and bad, we appreciate [the feedback]," he continued to note.

In terms of availability, "Quantum Break" will come to the PC but unfortunately, it won't be sold on Steam, the popular gaming online store created by Valve. Instead, though, Greenberg has mentioned that the IP is going to be sold on the company's Window Store exclusively.

"Quantum Break" is set to be released this coming April 5, 2016. Those who will purchase the Xbox One version will receive the Windows 10 PC port for free as both platforms will be supported by shared save feature but will not come with a cross-platform capability, according to the report from GameSpot.
