Samsung Galaxy Note Edge vs Motorola DROID Turbo 2: for power freaks, it's got to be the DROID Turbo 2 powerful

Samsung might have moved on to creating smartphones with dual curved edges but the device that started the trend was the Galaxy Note Edge which was released last year. Here is how the curved screen device compares to the DROID Turbo 2, which was released by Motorola recently.
Design
In terms of design and style, the DROID Turbo 2 lags behind its rival as it has a metal rim and its default back panel is made from Soft Grip. However, users can customize the device by choosing different colors for its front, frame and metal accents and they can even outfit the back panel with leather or ballistic nylon in different colors. There is no fingerprint scanner on the device but one is present on its competitor, the Note Edge, which is integrated into the home button. As for the build, the device from Samsung has a metal frame and its back panel is made from leather which helps users keep a hold on the device. It also has a stylus, but the outstanding feature is a curved edge on its screen that flows over its right hand side and can be used to display notifications, contacts, apps and a night clock.
Display
The curved super AMOLED screen of the Note Edge is the showstopper and it measures 5.6 inches with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and density of 524 pixels per inch. As for the DROID Turbo 2, it comes with ShatterShield technology that prevents the display from breaking when the smartphone is dropped. Its AMOLED screen measures 5.4 inches and it has a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and density of 540 pixels per inch.
Specs
Here the DROID Turbo 2 is well ahead as it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset and it is coupled with an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 430 GPU. On the Note Edge is an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, coupled with a quad-core CPU and an Adreno 420 GPU.
Memory
Both these devices have memory slots, and on the Note Edge, it supports up to 128 GB while the version on the DROID Turbo 2 supports up to 2 TB. Coming to RAM, however, each of these devices has 3 GB onboard.
Camera
The DROID Turbo 2 has a better 21-megapixel camera and it ranked third in the DxOMark listing while the Note Edge has a 16-megapixel version with OIS.
Price
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge costs $ 229 with a two year contract, while the DROID Turbo 2 costs $624 unlocked.
