The highly anticipated "beat 'em up" (or commonly known and referred to as Brawler) title, "Senran Kagura Estival Versus," developed by Marvelous Games and published by Marvelous USA (previously known as XSEED Games), has been made available in the North American region as well as in Europe, as can be seen on the IP's official PlayStation Store page.

"Featuring the biggest roster of fighters to date, SENRAN KAGURA ESTIVAL VERSUS is overflowing with explosive ninja moves, outrageous clothes-clearing combos and a scintillating storyline," Marvelous Games wrote for its description on the game's official website. "All previous characters return, with new moves and upgraded skills along with a host of new characters further expanding the roster with new challenges and techniques to master."

The game is, in a way, similar to the previous popular games "Dynasty Warriors" and "Samurai Warriors," where players face numerous underpowered enemies to beat up — hence, the alternate name for the Brawler genre, "Beat 'em up".

Fans that have bought the game—or still planning to buy "Senran Kagura Estival Versus"—will receive five free downloadable contents for the IP. However, though, these DLCs will only contain cosmetics for the characters in the game like several outfits to choose from.

Furthermore, the developer and publisher of the game has previously announced that most of the DLCs of the Japanese version of the game will most likely head over to the United States and European version, according to the report from The Vita Lounge last month.

Unfortunately, it appears like the three Ikki Tousen characters will not be able to make it to the US version, and according to the source above, it all boils down to licensing issues for Sonsaku, Kan-U, and Ryofu.

At this point, though, it would be best for fans to just wait for more news coming from Marvelous Games regarding the future DLCs for "Senran Kagura Estival Versus."

"Senran Kagura Estival Versus" is now available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita for $49.99.
