With bigger phablets continually hitting the market, many were surprised that Sony instead decided to include a 4K display on the Xperia Z5 Premium. Here is how the device from Sony compares against the Le Max Pro from LeTV.

Design

This is where the Le Max Pro has the trump card as it comes with a full metal body along with curved edges that give it a premium look. However, as the device is pretty big its curved back allows users to keep hold on it. In terms of colors, the device comes in silver and has a fingerprint scanner on its rear panel. Compared to this, the Xperia Z5 Premium has a metal frame and its back panel is made from polished glass. Here the fingerprint scanner is positioned on the side where it is incorporated into the power button. As for the colors, the device comes in gold, black and chrome.

Display

When it comes to display quality, the Xperia Z5 has an unbeatable edge as its IPS LCD screen measures 5.5 inches and has a resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and density of 806 pixels per inch. As for the Le Max Pro it has a bigger display that measures 6.33 inches and it comes with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and density of 464 pixels per inch.

Specs

Here the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset on the Le Max Pro gives it a good advantage and makes it faster than its competitor. As for the Xperia Z5 it comes with the older and problematic Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, coupled with an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 430 GPU.

Memory

Onboard the Xperia Z5 the memory slot can support the addition of up to 200 GB of external storage, while the Le Max Pro does not have a slot. When it comes to RAM, the Le Max Pro has 4 GB and the Xperia Z5 has 3 GB.

Camera

In terms of camera quality the Le Max Pro has a 21 megapixel camera but it is overshadowed by the 23 megapixel version on the Xperia Z5 Premium which is ranked at the number one spot on DxOMark.

Price

Here the Le Max Pro is cheaper as it has a $535 price tag, as for the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium it costs $975 without a contract.
