'The Amazing Race' season 28 recap: Marty and Hagan eliminated

The second episode of "The Amazing Race" season 28, "You Look Like Gollum," was pretty muddy all the way from Cartagena, Colombia. And the challenges will continue to escalate to higher difficulty levels as the teams progress into the game.
Last Friday's episode started in Mexico City where engaged choreographers Dana Borriello and Matt Steffanina were the first to leave for El Totumo in Cartagena. And the first challenge was up: Each team had to to book their own flights, which determined how they will finish the second leg of the game.
El Totumo is a volcano that boasts therapeutic 2,000-foot deep mud, where viewers found the cast members swimming in to find their own gem.
As per CBS synopsis, "For the first time ever, the racers travel to Cartagena, Colombia, where they must go mud-diving in a volcano, looking for emerald."
As Joslyn described it on an interview with TVLine, "Who knew being on 'The Amazing Race' would make my 'Baywatch' dreams a reality?"
"[S]eeing everyone covered in mud, slipping and sliding all over the place and just trying to maintain a standing position, was next-level hilarious! I clearly had way too much fun on this Roadblock — being a "hot mess" has never been so fabulous," she added.
Although there are some decoy bags that contain no emerald gem, all teams were quick to find their own. With their gems in hand, "they had swim out into a nearby lagoon to retrieve their next clue," a recap of the show stated.
At the end, mother-and-daughter duo Marty Cobb and Hagan Parkman were eliminated from the game. They could have easily passed the Vine brothers, Cameron and Darius Benson, if they had chosen to take a taxi instead of using their legs to get to the Pit Stop. As they saw the brothers drove straight past them, Hagan said, "That mistake just cost us the Race."
Tune in to CBS for the third episode titled "Bros Being Jocks" that will be aired on Feb. 26.
