It's celebration time inside Tamriel, and "The Elder Scrolls Online" players now have an opportunity to take part in new quests and earn new rewards courtesy of the seasonal event known as "The New Life Festival."

While the event has already begun, players themselves still have a few things they need to do first if they want to experience all that it has to offer.

The first thing players will need to do is to find Breta, who is located just outside of Windhelm. Once they do that, they can proceed to complete the different tasks she will throw at them.

After all of that is done, players can then move on to the real meat of "The New Life Festival."

During each day of the festival, players have the opportunity to complete up to nine different quests that are each based on one of the races in the game, according to the game's official website.

Completing one of those nine quests will net players a New Life Gift Box. This little bundle of goodies will always feature some kind of crafting material, a Skinchanger style item and also a consumable New Life-themed memento.

"Elder Scrolls Online" players are also in line to receive at least one of other special items. These special items are Skinchanger Motif chapters, New Life recipes and event-themed collectibles, so players are incentivized to complete as many of these event-themed quests as they can.

Players who successfully complete all of Breda's quests will earn the New Life Cerulean dye and the New Life Celebrant achievement. Players can also take things further by going after all the other event-related achievements in order to earn the "Magnanimous" title.

Players can also check out the Crown Store and purchase some special items that will really show off their holiday spirit. Newly released items include the Crown Crafting Motif: Stalhrim Frostcaster Style and the Sun's Dusk Winter Hood.

On Dec. 22, the New Life Festival Cap and the New Life Monk's Cap will also be added to the Crown Store.

The aforementioned Crown Store items will remain available until Jan. 4, 2017. "The Elder Scrolls Online's" "New Life Festival" will also wrap up on that day.
