'The Originals' season 2 episode 16 spoilers: Rebekah's body taken over by her host; Dahlia is scheming to get baby Hope

"The Originals" keeps getting better and better, with each episode rife with plot twists and insight into the show's myriad characters. Episode 16 will see viewers on the edge of their seat as Klaus invites his long-lost sister, Freya, to get information on their evil maternal aunt Dahlia.
Viewers may recall that the Original vampire's mother, Esther, turned to her sister, Dahlia, for a fertility spell. Like all magical contracts, Esther has to give something back to Dahlia as payment for her valuable assistance. Dahlia made a deal with the Mikaelson matriarch that every generation's first-born child will be given to her. This meant that Esther had to give her eldest child, Freya, to Dahlia. Now that Hope is born, aunt Dahlia will be back to collect what's rightfully hers.
International Business Times reports that Klaus and Elijah will meet Freya who will warn them that Dahlia will come back for Hope and stop at nothing to get her. Fashion & Style also states that the episode will provide insight into Freya and Dahlia's relationship. Is her fearsome aunt really cruel or did she treat Freya well?
Meanwhile, Rebekah will be plagued with weird visions which will help her realize the body which she inhabits is trying to take control of her. The evil witch is attempting to regain control over her body. Remember, Eva is known for killing children after stealing their magic. A desperate Rebekah seeks her ex-lover Marcel's help. Marcel puts his bargaining skills to good use by turning to Vincent for assistance.
Meanwhile, Aiden questions Jackson's leadership skills which makes him frustrated. Viewers should keep in mind that Klaus convinced Jackson's right-hand man that their current leader wasn't fit to lead the pack. The Original vampire also made a deal with Aiden to help him become an Alpha if he offered protected baby Hope, no matter what the cost entailed.
Catch the Mikaelson family in action on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. on CW.
