'The Vampire Diaries' season 8 spoilers, news: Cade enters Mystic Falls

(Facebook/The Vampire Diaries)Who is Cade? Find out in 'The Vampire Diaries' season 8 episode 6

Fans are in for a thrilling episode when "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 returns in a few days as spoilers reveal that Cade, the new big bad, will finally be introduced.

It seems that this season will never be short of villains as Alaric (Matthew Davis) and Caroline's (Candice King) twins will be the reason for Cade's (Wole Parks) debut in Mystic Falls.

TVLine confirms that "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 episode 6 titled "Detoured on Some Random Backwoods Path to Hell" will introduce Arcadius "Cade" into the world that Stefan (Paul Wesley), Caroline, Alaric, and Bonnie (Kat Graham) are trying their best to protect.

The pressure is pretty rough on Stefan, Caroline and Alaric, after the twins mysteriously disappear. A promo for the upcoming episode reveals that Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Sybil (Nathalie Kelly) have taken the kids.

Caroline is pretty much enraged at the idea of Damon and Sybil using her children for their evil plans and she tells poor Stefan (who is obviously caught in the middle) that she will kill Damon if he makes a wrong move.

The twins look like they're not hurt as Damon holds on to them in front of Cade but still, Alaric and everyone else are all worried. No one is sure what Sybil and Damon will do to the girls.

The synopsis for "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 episode 6 also teases that Stefan will vow to save the children of the woman he loves above all, but in the process, he is led to make a decision which will ultimately change his entire life. Does this mean Stefan is now willing to make a major sacrifice?

Enzo (Michael Malarkey), on the other hand, will realize soon enough that he may not have the strength to fight off Sybil's hold on him. Does this mean he will fall into the same pit that Damon is in now? Will the two ever be drawn back to reality?

"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 episode 6 airs Friday, Dec. 2 on The CW.
