Uruguay and Costa Rica will play their opening game in the 2014 FIFA World Cup at the Castelao stadium in Fortaleza, Brazil, on Saturday. Uruguay is the clear favorite as Costa Rica has yet to ever defeat Uruguay when the two meet.

One of the closest attempts was in the 2010 World Cup qualification in 2009 when the two teams played a 1-1 draw. With three players in the British Premier League, Uruguay has higher star-appeal than Costa Rica too.

Would-be Arsenal player Joel Campbell is at least theoretically a Premier League player, and will spearhead the Central American nation's predicted defense-heavy 5-4-1 start formation.

Liverpool's "Footballer of the Year," Luis Suárez, is down with a knee injury and it's still unsure if Uruguay will risk fielding him so early in the tournament, evening things out just a little bit.

Uruguay vs Costa Rica will be refereed by German Felix Brych, and the game will be broadcast on various TV channels and live streams online depending on your location.

ABC will air the game beginning coverage at 2.30 p.m. ET / 11.30 a.m. PT, including their online live stream at the WatchABC.

For viewers in the UK, BBC will broadcast the game streaming online for free at 8 p.m BST.
