'Veep' season 4 news: Selina negotiates with Israeli diplomats

The political comedy television series 'Veep' just began its fourth season last week but it has already received a dose of good news as HBO announced that it has already renewed the show for a fifth season. As reported in this article at Deadline Hollywood, the network regards the series as a strong candidate once again for television awards and is excited to continue seeing it next year.
HBO executive Michael Lombardo praised the series alongside the network's other hit comedy series 'Silicon Valley'. "Veep and Silicon Valley are terrific series, and I'm immensely proud that they will return to HBO next year," he said.
Meanwhile, season four of 'Veep' debuted with an episode entitled "Joint Session" and will follow-up with a second episode on April 19 later this week. The second episode is called "East Wing", and the official synopsis, as provided in this article by the Futon Critic, is as follows:
"The president's staff prepares for her state visit with the Israeli prime minister. Mike tries out a new look for his more visible role. Teddy does Jonah a favor, while continuing to invade his personal space. Stuck in traffic with Richard, Amy learns via FaceTime that Selina is bringing in a new director of communications. Gary goes overboard while planning the state dinner for the Israeli delegation, and a painting in the White House comes into the spotlight."
A short thirty second preview provided by HBO can viewed here via its official YouTube account. Lead actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus is featured heavily as her titular character Vice President Selina Meyer appears to be in deep negotiations with the Israeli diplomatic team. Actor Matt Walsh as Mike McLintock also shows off his newly dyed moustache in the new episode.
'Veep' continues its fourth season run and will air this April 19 on HBO.
