Xiaomi Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 sold out in minutes

Xiaomi has just released its Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 in the market and reports suggest that the products were sold out in minutes.
Initially, reports only mentioned that the company has just put the items in an open sale in India. According to reports, users that are interested can get the smartphone or the Note through acessing their website that began Apr. 27. However, after minutes on sale, both products were sold-out. This actually shocked the community and probably made some potential customers disappointed. However, there happens to be a silver lining because the company decided to put the Mi 5 on sale once again and the date mentioned on their website is May 4.
Those who are planning to grab this smartphone can take note of the date along with a rundown of the specifications. The Mi 5 will have three variants, but the one available for sale is the 32 GB storage with 3 GB RAM model. It also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, along with an Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The price of the smartphone is $375.
Those who might be interested in the Redmi Note 3 may be a bit disappointed because the company hasn't mentioned or announced another sale for the product. It can be recalled that there was an initial sale back in March 9 and the other sale happened Apr. 27. Hopefully, the company decides to open another sale, perhaps after the May 4 sale of the Mi 5.
The Redmi Note 3 will come in three colors, which are gold, silver, and dark grey. It will also offer the consumers with two variants — the 16 GB version with 2 GB of RAM and the 32 GB version with 3 GB of RAM. The price of this note is practically affordable since the 16 GB variant is priced at $137, while the 32 GB is at $168.
Xiaomi sure is making waves in the smartphone industry, probably taking advantage of the drop in sales of Apple.
