Intex Cloud Flash news: 5-inch smartphone featuring Super AMOLED has only $150 price tag

Intex has recently launched a new smartphone in its Cloud lineup – the Cloud Flash. The Intex Cloud Flash comes with premium features but at an affordable price point. The smartphone will be released to the Indian market next week.

"For the tech savvy consumers, Cloud Flash is a wonderful package of sleek and stylish design with a sturdy frame and superior performance," said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head at Intex Technologies.

The Intex Cloud Flash features a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a 720 x 1080 screen resolution. The smartphone looks premium with its metal frame and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 front and back panels. The device is 6.5 mm thick and weighs 123.5 grams.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6753 processor with 2 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of internal storage but it can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card slot.

The Cloud Flash smartphone is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. It comes preloaded with apps like SwiftKey, Opera Mini, OLX, Clean Master and Skype. The smartphone also comes with the Smart Wake feature that allows users to access apps just by drawing the first letter of the app on the screen.

The Cloud Flash has dual-SIM capability and 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro-USB connectivity. It is backed by a 2,300 mAh battery which can provide up to six hours of talk time or 300 hours of standby time.

The device is offered in three colors - black, white and champagne.

The Intex Cloud Flash will be available to purchase by Dec. 14. It will be sold exclusively by Gadgets 360 for Rs. 9,999 which is about $150. Customers will get a one-year screen breakage warranty and a double data offer from Airtel.
