Kult 10 news: Entry-level 5-inch smartphone comes with 3 GB RAM and 4G LTE

New Indian smartphone manufacturer Kult has released its first smartphone named the Kult 10. The Kult 10 is an entry-level device with several impressive features. Although it comes with a simple and minimalist design, the smartphone offers a powerful consumer experience. 

According to Kult founder Nitesh Gupta, the Kult 10 "is designed for a user who aspires for a hyper connected lifestyle while demanding technologies with a simple design and intuitive interface. It is designed to empower today's consumer to have a superior digital experience." 

The Kult 10 features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 1280 x 720 pixel screen resolution and 294 ppi pixel density. The display comes with an Asahi Dragontail Glass panel for added protection. The Kult 10 is slim and lightweight, measuring 7.6 mm thick and weighing 128 grams. 

The smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 processor with the Mali T720MP2 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. There is also 16 GB of internal storage but can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card slot. 

The Kult 10 is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus, LED flash and a f/2.2 aperture lens. It is also capable of capturing Full HD 1080p videos. There is also a 5 MP front-facing camera with an 84-degree wide-angle lens for impressive group selfies. With the Selfie Click feature, users only need to tap the display to capture selfies. 

The device has dual-SIM capability and 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. Kult has also announced a planned update for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The device is offered in two colors – Pearl White and Sandgrain Black.

The Kult 10 smartphone is backed by a 2350 mAh removable battery. With fast charging capability, the device is fully charged in just 100 minutes.

The Kult 10 smartphone is now available to purchase exclusively through Snapdeal for Rs. 7,999 or about $120.
