Many are anticipating the return of "Daredevil" season 3, especially with all the exciting projects in store for Hell's Kitchen.

With Netflix expected to release several new Marvel series set in Hell's Kitchen, fans are hoping to know more about how the shows will come together. In addition, many are still wondering about how the upcoming season will solve the mysteries that were presented in "Daredevil" season 2.

Unfortunately, it seems as though it will still be awhile before Netflix releases the next season of "Daredevil." According to reports, the upcoming season might not air until 2018 due to the other Marvel series expected to premiere.

Though it is still more than a year away, fans have already began speculating about what could take place in the upcoming season of the series. Some believe that season 3 could focus more on amending the friendship between Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox).

The past season saw the two characters falling out as friends due to Matt's focus on Elektra (Elodie Yung). Aside from that, there are many wondering who the villain will be for the episodes ahead. Since Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D'Onofrio, was well-received by fans, and is a constant presence in the comic books, some believe that he will be involved in season 3 again.

Though D'Onofrio did not confirm, he did say during an interview, "But when and where and how is not something I can talk about. I know that there's ... anybody that knows the whole Daredevil and Punisher series, they know that there's a lot of Fisk in there. I love it because it shoots from New York and I can be home with my family and play this incredible character. ... As long as the writing stays as good as that, then I'm going to be there whenever they ask me to."

With that, fans will just have to wait until the return of "Daredevil" to see what is in store for the iconic characters.
