'Daredevil' season 3 spoilers, plot: Elektra's resurrection and Bullseye appears

The fate of "Daredevil" season 3 remains uncertain as Netflix has not yet announced the series renewal for another season. It is believed that other Marvel series are being prioritized, but fans continue to speculate on what season 3 could be about.
During a Netflix event in Paris, "Daredevil" lead actor Charlie Cox said, "We don't know if there's going to be a season three. I certainly don't know." He did, however, mention the upcoming "The Defenders" show, which features Daredevil along with Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage.
While "The Defenders" could serve as the continuation of Matt Murdock's story, rumors about a "Daredevil" season 3 just won't die down. In Elektra's death scene, she said, "This is not the end," and fans of the show took that as a hint of another season coming up. Moreover, her dead body was seen in the hands of The Hand organization, which seems to want to bring her back to life.
In the comics, Elektra died in the hands of Bullseye and went on to join Wolverine on his mission. Actor Hugh Jackman is known to play Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the third installation of the "Wolverine" movie would be his last to portray the role. This means another actor will join the new generation of "X-Men" stars and speculations are that he could be introduced in the small screen first.
In an interview with Cinema Blend, Cox said, "If we are fortunate enough to continue making the Daredevil series, I can't imagine doing a run of Daredevil where Bullseye doesn't show up at some point." This has led to speculations that season 3 would feature Bullseye as well.
While waiting for confirmation of a third season, "Daredevil" seasons 1 and 2 may be viewed on Netflix.
