The anticipated 'Glee' Season 6 will premiere in mid-January next year, and major plot spoilers are already being released by various news websites. One major spoiler is the alleged engagement of Santana to Brittany.

On October 6, actress Naya Rivera sent out a Twitter post that ignited the current rumors.

"Popping a very important question today at glee! ;-)," wrote Rivera on Twitter.

Speaking of relationship improvements on the next season of Glee, it is also rumored that Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) will do everything she can to rehabilitate the romance between Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) after their split last season.

Sue Sylvester will meddle in another relationship as she tries to persuade Sam to make his move on Rachel (Lea Michele).

Sam and Rachel will engage in a romantic kiss, leading Rachel to ask Sam out. Unfortunately for Rachel, Sam will turn her down and admit that he was lost in a "daze" during their kiss, and that he is still in love with Mercedes.

As if this embarrassment is not enough to put Rachel down, Sue will allegedly invite The Warblers and Vocal Adrenaline back to McKinley High for a rehearsal so the Glee club will get discouraged. Despite the heartbreak and the pressure, Rachel will still do her best to lead New Directions with the help of Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison).
