'Halo 5: Guardians' news: Master Chief will keep his helmet on

All Halo fans know who the Master Chief is; they have, after all, been playing him for years. They have not, however, seen his face, not even once. And it looks like they still won't be able to in "Halo 5: Guardians."
"Halo" is one of the most known AAA games exclusive for the Microsoft video game console, Xbox. Gamers have been pulled in by Master Chief's many adventures and missions and the lore surrounding the military sci-fi. Although most things "Halo" are recognizable to fans who have been playing the franchise since "Halo: Combat Evolved," perhaps one of the more popular icons in the game is its protagonist's helmet, which begs the question: will John-117 aka Master Chief ever take off that super high-tech suit?
Those who thought that the eye tease at the end of "Halo 4" will eventually lead to finally seeing Master Chief's face in "Halo 5: Guardians" will be disappointed when the game ships to stores October.
Creative director, Tim Longo, told Game Rant, "I actually don't even know if I can talk about that... He doesn't take his helmet off."
"Halo 5" had been plagued by disappointing news recently. The game developer announced that they are doing away with the split-screen feature to accommodate what they think are more important features for players. They also said that the traditional big team battle will not be included at launch.
Despite these, the eighth game in the franchise is still looking like a great library addition to all Xbox One owners. It will be launching with the previously reported multiplayer Warzone, which can be a good alternative for the big team battle, at least at launch time.
Also, the game will explore a campaign larger than any in the game's history, which will include various characters from other Halo iterations.
"Halo 5: Guardians" is scheduled for release on Oct. 27, 2015.
