The two future leaders stayed in the area for some time as their arms are seen bleeding, which is a sign of their sacrifice and love for the townspeople and their willingness to let go of the past so they can save their people.
Spoilers reveal that in "Naruto Shippuden" episode 480, Naruto will be seen as a serious leader who trains alone in the forest. As he continues training, someone whom he seems to be comfortable with appears. Based on the purported titled of the upcoming episode, it's safe to conclude that this person will most likely be either of the three: Sasuke, Sakura, or Hinata.
Meanwhile, numerous reports suggest that fans will be given three more episodes after 480 airs on Oct. 20. Episode 481 will purportedly be focused on Sasuke and Sakura, airing Oct. 27, followed by episode 482 which will focus on Gaara and Shikamaru and will be aired on Nov. 3. Finally, episode 483 will be talking about the lives of Jiraiya and Kakashi, airing Nov. 10.
