'NCIS' season 13 spoilers: Bishop to have a difficult time moving on from her marriage; Jeanne Benoit will reportedly make an appearance again

"NCIS" season 13 is on another short break and will return with a new episode on Feb. 9. In the interim, fans have been concerned with two things – what's next for Ellie Bishop and how will the show say goodbye to Anthony DiNozzo?
The probationary agent discovered in episode 9 that her husband Jake (Jamie Bamber) was cheating on her, prompting her to return home to clear her head before making a decision regarding her marriage. While Bishop (Emily Wickersham) might have decided to end her marriage, she will still struggle with her choice and will reportedly have a hard time moving on from Jake.
According to the actress, viewers will see the character "unravelling" a little, which is a far cry from the perfectionist agent that fans have seen so far. Wickersham told TV Guide that Bishop will realize that she didn't actually pay any attention to this aspect of her life.
"The fact that their relationship was basically formed in a work environment based on convenience, it was bound to have problems," Wickersham explained. "I think it's pretty surprising that she didn't pick up on that."
While she didn't give any hint as to how the agent will handle her divorce, Wickersham did reveal that Bishop will focus on work for the rest of the season and won't be getting into any new relationships anytime soon.
Michael Weatherly's exit from "NCIS" is another topic that fans are wondering about. The actor, who has played Very Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo since the series' premiered, announced on Twitter that he was leaving the show at the end of the season.
The news of his exit has hit fans and his co-workers hard. Pauley Perrette, who plays the happy Goth Abby, admitted to Extra that she's heartbroken that Weatherly will be leaving and described the actor as being her brother "in every sense of the word." However, the actress refused to reveal why Weatherly was bidding the show adieu, saying that it's not her story to tell.
Fans are expecting the episodes leading up to the actor's departure to feature some characters that have defined DiNozzo's stay on "NCIS." His ex-girlfriend, Jeanne Benoit (Scottie Thompson), had already made an appearance in episode 7 and will reportedly return before his exit. However, reports that Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) will be returning for a special appearance has so far remained rumours.
"NCIS" season 13 will return to CBS on Feb.9.
