Redditors have recently discovered new files located in "Overwatch's" Public Test Region (PTR) that may seem to give the players a clue on what looks like additional information for Doomfist.

Redditors found some new wire mechanical files that show a broken Numbani Payload that contains Doomfist's gauntlets and a Doomfist's theme sound file for the Public Test Region menu. Another significant change that users noticed is the Hero Gallery user interface. According to YouTube gamer Arekkz, Blizzard made a change to shift heroes over as if the company plans to fill the empty Hero Space with another character.

Rumors about Doomfist's character possibly joining the list of "Overwatch" heroes have been around for quite some time, with Terry Crews as its voice actor. According to Game Rant, Crews was very much ecstatic about the idea, given his affinity for PC gaming.

Crews even went to visit the "Overwatch" studio back in December 2016 which caused fans to be even more excited that he may be the voice behind Doomfist. Even though Blizzard has yet to make any announcement about the Doomfist, he may just be able to reach the same hype that Sombra received when she got released.

Doomfist is considered as an important character in the game's lore. He is one of the well-known antagonists to the "Overwatch" team. Doomfist is a name passed on from one person to another, each character wielding a powerful gauntlet in battle.

The character has been speculated as an additional character to "Overwatch" for a few months. Since several downloadable contents (DLC) are already in the works, it is possible that he is already next in line; chances are Crews may just be the voice that will bring Doomfist back to life. However, for now, it seems that Blizzard already has their buckets filled with a couple of updates, so it might be months before fans of the game see a new character added to the game.

"Overwatch" is now available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
